Origin of name Anthony Green, the former vocalist, had initially suggested the name “Saosin” for the band. Saosin means “small heart” as well as “be careful” in Chinese (小心 xiao xin). The word comes from a 15th century proverb about fathers telling their sons who are being married off for money not to get emotionally involved with their wives, (who could die at any time.)...
